SBI was formed in 2012 by the owners of the Piandre chain of beauty salons who have been in the salon business for the past 40 years. SBI was created to serve the discerning and conscious salon owner, stylist and consumer. Its thrust is to offer the better, healthier and more environment conscious option to high-end salons in Manila and Metro Cebu, Iloilo and Davao. Its mission is to help salon owners run sustainable businesses through a continuing education that is holistic and transformative. This is unique in the industry today because the program will focus not only honing hairdressing skills but the overall wellness of the stylist's total person- mind, body and spirit. SBI seeks to transform the lives of hairdressers and salon staff in this way. SBI also seeks to serve the salon owners who are in search of learning and education opportunities that tackle business management and people management. The SBI owners feel that given their own forty years in the business, they are now in a position to share with other salons their best practices in order to contribute meaningful change in the salons it serves.
